Trails and Trail Features
Little feet run up the cedar stairs at the ZigZag Cabin project.
Owl Flats will build you a custom trail with seating features. This particular trail was made for a client along the Zigzag River of Mt Hood. The trail is made almost entirely of materials that were on site. Owl Flats used chainsaws and hand tools to cut, split and sand the western red cedar logs into trail stairs, a retaining wall, and railings. The bench top was purchased as a raw slab and turned into beautiful bench on legs of cedar trunks. Many of the rocks were on site and the remainder were sourced from places on Mt. Hood.
